Soy base homemade candles

These 100% soy bases candles are so easy to create. All you need are glass jars, I found these around my house. Candle wax, candle wax scents, wicks, and candle wax color, which is not in the picture because I had forgot to pick it up.

The first thing to do is grab a microwave glass container. Add as much wax as you need for your candle. I measured mine out in the container I am pouring the melted wax in. But then I realized I needed to add more after the wax was melted. So measure out how much you need in your candle container then add just a little bit more. Put the measured out wax into a microwave safe container and microwave for 25 second increments, until wax is melted. Take out with pot holder, (it will be very hot! Trust me.) Mix in the wax frarange and wax color. Just half an oz will do for the wax fragrance. The color is your preference if you preferre dark then add 2 more drops after every stir. Remember it will solidify so you have to stir fast. Place wick in the bottle of candle container and pour melted wax on top. Hold wick with clothes pin. Let wax harden. It will take about 30 mins to 1 hour. After it has cooled down you can begin using your candles or give away as gifts to family and friends.
